The LABOMED CXL was designed for use in the classroom. It features an inclined binocular head at 45 degrees fully rotatable 360 degrees and wide field 10x eyepieces. The LP optics are DIN Semi Plan 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x that are parfocal, parcentered with a very high correction for chromatic errors. Focusing is achieved with a co-axial focus mechanism that is low positioned for ease of use. The stage is 133 x 124mm with low positioned co-axial controls mechanical stage controls. An Abbe Condenser with an aspherical lens iris diaphragm and special day light blue filter is mounted on a precision rack and pinion system. The illumination system is built in halogen 12v-20w variable intensity with a universal power supply 110v-240v, that is UL and CE certified. Included with the microscope is a free extended one year warranty for a total of six years |
